The club is private and is home to the private championship Hale Irwin Course. There is a high degree of beauty, which is made evident by the cascading waterfalls at the entrance of the Anthem master plan.
Basically, the Anthem Country Club is its own small town with approximately 6,500 homes sitting on lots that are larger than the average lots in the Las Vegas Valley. The community was specifically designed to blend well with the native desert. The homes range in size from 1,268 square feet to more than 5,000 square feet. Some of the more extravagant homes are over 10,000 square feet.
It’s a very social community that is great for retirees and empty nesters, but it also works well for families with small children or teenagers. It is all about what you are looking for in a home and a community. If you like close-knit, then this might be the community for you.
An aspect that makes this community so beautiful is its placement among the Black Mountains and its natural paseos. The elevation is also high, which offers a fantastic view of the city lights. Residents can take advantage of the professional-quality tennis courts, the tropical resort-style pools in the state-of-the-art athletic facility, parks, basketball courts, walking paths, and a member’s clubhouse that is 33,000 square feet. There’s also gourmet dining.
One significant feature is that championship golf course that totals 7,267 yards. What makes this course special are the changes in elevation as it meshes with the desert. There are six lakes, mesmerizing waterfalls, and picture-perfect canyons. Players of all levels love this course because of the spectacular views of the Las Vegas Strip. Stop at a tee box, choose among the five sets of tees for all player levels, and admire the view of the strip and the sweeping panoramic views of the mountains and wide fairways. It’s impossible to not feel at peace here when surrounded by so much beauty.
